In 1990, Ben Franklin Crafts & Frame Shop was established by two independent owners. The Johnson family owned a Ben Franklin store in Woodburn, Oregon for 13 years. Ferguson Merchandising owned a Ben Franklin store in Redmond, Washington for 30 years. In 1994, the Johnson family bought Ferguson Merchandising and sold the store in Woodburn to set up residency here in Springfield.
The Johnson family has owned Ben Franklin Crafts & Frame Shop since the doors first opened, and since day one, we have prided ourselves on quality and customer service. From the beginning, we wanted to make sure we were a unique kind of craft store and we have taken pleasure in becoming a creative destination in the Eugene/Springfield area. We offer an average of 20-30 classes every month and through the year, we host three to four large events that take place after store hours.
Over the years, we have been committed to serving the Eugene and Springfield communities by donating to numerous area schools, churches, and nonprofit organizations. We are always ready to help with any special event your organization might be planning. Please contact us for more information. Additionally, to help teachers in the community we accept purchase orders and provide a 10% discount to all teachers with a valid teacher ID. Donations are always welcome and are greatly appreciated.
We are one of the founding members of a 60-store buying group. Being part of this group allows us to specialize in new and different creative items designed to inspire you to create that special touch in your own home. Likewise, twice a year, our group sends a buying team to Asia to travel throughout the country selecting merchandise exclusive to our customers, something that is quite unique in the craft industry.

By Price Group / Range $0-50, $50-100, $100-250, $250 and up
By Color (see color picker items below)
We would like a clickable color palette / color picker for people to find items by color range (e.g. blue, aqua, purple, violet, etc.)
Someone recommended Product Specifications add on in a post, don't know if would work:
http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/7014
Pop Sugar has one that pops-up if you click color on the left:
http://www.shopstyle.com/browse?fts=rainbow++colored+jewelry#/browse/jewelry?fts=rainbow++colored+jewelry&fl=c8
Dripple has another:
http://dribbble.com/colors/993399
Etsy used to have one, but we don't like it so much anymore.
Just want a few clickable palette colors.
Want to be able to tag the catalog items correspondingly in the database.
9) There's a feature on the right of the screen when you scroll down to return to the top at:
http://www.aliexpress.com/store/group/Mystic-rainbow-topaz-jewelry/105903_211238689.html
10) Would like customers to be able to have a WISHLIST. Maybe a GIFTCARD. Maybe COUPON CODES.
11) Want to be compliant as far as ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act),
using alt tags for all images, etc. Ensuring Text-readable-access
12) Links to Facebook / Like Us button, etc.
You can see examples of our jewelry via photos at:

-----------
Our passion is creating jewelry with color, and something people want to give/share with one another.
Some styles we like include:
http://www.rainbowsapphire.com/rainbow-sapphire-pastel/
clean, cursive writing for headlines, real estate
http://www.liquidsandstudio.com/jewelry.html
again, white, real estate, cursive writing, etc. - I can generate the calligraphy / image files
http://janabolic.mysupadupa.com/collections/chainmaille-bracelets/products/shaggy-rainbow-chainmaille-bracelet-chainmaille-jewelry
ok, prefer to stay away from black site, yet, background in our images is usually black, featuring jewelry with reflective surface
http://templatesellers.info/livedemo-1051.html
like the bird bleed in the upper left corner; like the birds on the bottom; like the embed video;
like the buttons being rounded with space around them, like the hoverable tabs for "About Us"
LOVE the image picker / banner!!!! Can we get that on our site?
http://templatesellers.info/livedemo-759.html
like the larger images (e.g. 2 wide by 3 tall...ours is currently small thumbnails with 3 wide)
